Breaking away from the tech stuff for a while, we broke into two groups to debate some key elements of liberalism. Some people were a little frustrated at the short amount of time allocated – both for preparation and for the actual debate. Nevertheless, there was a healthy competition of ideas.

Definitely one of the highlights of the day was the presentation on Liberal e-Democracy by Helmut Metzner, Head: Department of Political and International Affairs. His presentation generated many questions and stimulated much interesting discussion.
